Working in Oslo at the "Monumental Temporal", thinking further and preparing the next exhibition.

This transnational group of artists have come together around shared interests in monumentality and ephemerality, improvisation and scale, the protocols of sculpture, and manifestations of art in the public realm. Working over three weeks with a varied and unconventional selection of materials plus technical support from the Fellesverkstedet team, the group will respond to the challenge of producing work that is monumental in impact yet temporary in nature. 

The exhibition forms part of PRAKSIS’s eleventh residency Monumental — Temporal, developed with Gereon Krebber in collaboration with Fellesverkstedet. It will showcase the physical outcomes of the residents’ work, play, and experimentation, and celebrate Fellesverkstedet’s final event at Urtegata: after seven years, they are moving to a new home at Seilduksgata 29 in Oslo’s Grünerløkka district.
